Rockin’ Dry Rub Ribs

All recipes require use of one pre-soaked grilling plank, prepared according to instructions.

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 racks baby back pork ribs (4 to 5 pounds)
  • 6 tablespoons Rockin’ Dry Rub seasoning

Directions:

  1. Soak plank for 2 hours.
  2. Second plank maybe required, depending on size of slabs.
  3. Prepare basting sauce in glass bowl by mixing vinegar with 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of the Rockin’ Dry Rub seasoning.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-low heat. Baste and place ribs with bone side down on the plank.
  5. Baste and flip the ribs every 20 minutes.
  6. Cook for a total of 1 ½ hours, or until ribs are brown and meat has come away from the bone.
  7. For crispier ribs, remove from plank and grill directly for last 2 minutes on each side until sizzling.
  8. Remove plank from grill.
  9. Baste ribs with the remaining sauce.
  10. Generously apply Rockin’ Dry Rub seasoning on ribs.
  11. Cut the racks in half.

Serves 4 and is delicious with Memphis style coleslaw.
