Planked Veggies

  • 2/3 Cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup minced shallots
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 3 cups of your favorite veggies for grilling (washed and cut to serving sizes)


  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well
  2. Marinade your favorite cut vegetables for 3 to 4 hours
  3. Arrange Veggies on pre-soaked plank and place on grill
  4. Close lid and grill for 8-10 minutes or until veggies are tender
  5. Serve and Enjoy!

    do you cook on low, med or high heat?

    Each grill is different. I would recommend grilling on medium and then adjusting the temperature based on how much smoke you are getting and how well the veggies are cooking.
